Big Rigs Welcome: A Guide to Our Full-Hookup Pull-Through Sites

By The Campground Team·June 10, 2026·6 min read

If you’re newer to RVing, terms like “full-hookup” and “pull-through” get thrown around like everyone was born knowing them. Here’s the plain-English version — and why the kind of site you book makes a real difference to how your trip goes.

What “full-hookup” means

A full-hookup site gives you all three connections right at your spot: electric, water, and sewer. That means no filling a fresh tank ahead of time, no driving to a dump station mid-trip, and no rationing showers. Every one of our 168 sites is full-hookup with 50-amp service, so you can run the air conditioning, charge everything, and stay as long as you like without babysitting your tanks.

Why pull-through sites beat back-in

A pull-through site is exactly what it sounds like: you pull in one end and out the other, no backing required. For big rigs, fifth wheels, and anyone towing, that’s the difference between a five-minute setup and a twenty-minute ordeal with someone waving their arms in your mirror. Every site here is a pull-through, which is a big reason travelers passing through on I-70 love us for an overnight.

The faster you’re set up, the sooner the vacation actually starts.

Room for the rig you actually drive

Rigs have gotten bigger, and a lot of older parks haven’t kept up. Our sites are 90 feet long and 17 feet wide — genuine room for a big motorhome or a fifth wheel plus the tow vehicle, with space left over for the outdoor rug and chairs. You’re not threading a needle or leaving the truck parked across the road.

A faster, cleaner setup

Here’s a simple setup order that keeps first-timers sane:

  • Pull through and eyeball your level spot before you stop.
  • Chock the wheels, then level side-to-side and front-to-back.
  • Connect power through a surge protector first, then water, then sewer.
  • Pop the slides, drop the awning, and you’re done.

With full hookups already at the site, the whole thing takes minutes — not the better part of an hour.
